Wanting to escape the day-after-day dull routine of my "9-5" and to keep up with my photography, this blog was created on March 7th, 2017 with the idea of posting one photo a week to keep my photographic eye in shape and to hear people's thoughts on one specific piece. Out of the Darkness 2017
This June I will once again be walking the DC Out of the Darkness Overnight walk for suicide prevention. I walked this 18 mile overnight walk back in 2013 to honor my friend Nicholas Bertozzi and I will again walk through the night for him this June. The last walk was a very moving event for me from start to finish.
I need to raise $1,000.00 to participate in this event. If you are able to help me out in any way I would be greatly appreciative.

Another great weekend spent doing what I love, photography. I spent Sunday evening with an amazing range of people enjoying what they love to do. Partied with some old friends and made some new ones as well. A great weekend overall.
